So! Having chopped both boxes out the car, I'm wanting to decat Im swaying towards the scorpion but is there any better ones etc? and I'm guessing it'll be a garage job/long day to fit it my self seeing as the postion! Ali
I have a turbo back Scorpion system, no centre box sound great, not to loud about 88-90 db measured at track. All depends how good you are with spanners, got to remove the rear bumper after that it's not to bad, just jack it up as far as you dare.
Thanks! Mines factory system just with the boxes removed so im hoping it's not gonna be too loud with no boxes or a cat or anything .. if so i may have to get a box put in to deaden it downa bit! I recognize the car, where you at bedford the start of last year (Renault/ford day)
I took the cat out of mine with the straight through Miltec and it went up to around 120 db, way to loud for me and track days, 90 db is well within track day limits (most) so as long as leave the the cat in you will be okay. Yes that would be me at Bedford, not seen another inferno at a track day
Oh Jesus, might decat it then get a box put back in somrwhere, don't want it that loud haha I remember, if it's got a charge cooler, water one .. You took me out and made me feel extremely sick
As i said before, i now have a full non resonated turbo back (decat) system and that is about 90db so not to loud. Yes that would be me then with the charge cooler, sorry about making you sick should be better soon, hopefully getting another 40+hp.
