  1. are these worth doing when I fit my cooksport springs as did them on my 182 before?

Don't work due to the hub setup

I have adjustable bushes in the track control arms and they are being ditched nothing but trouble, i am going back to standard ones, better off with adjustable top mounts

  4. Dammit. So camber bolts won't work on the R26?

Only way is adjustable top mounts? Guessing they aren't cheap!

Mine's only on OEM suspension with H&R springs

  5. Nope you can't use camber bolts due to the design of the strut/hub assembly.

I believe AST and Silver Project make top mounts but AST are expensive.

I haven't used either myself so cant comment on quality etc

  6. Cheers yeah someone just pointed me in the direction of the silver project. Only 100 quid.

Just put brand new oem ones on for 125! Ha

Will they be quite harsh being solid though? Just for the road you see

  7. They will likely be louder/harsh compared to stock ones definitely, but depends how much you can live with it lol

If it's just for road use why do you need more camber? Is it purely for the looks?

  8. No not at all. Had the car lowered on h&r and took it in today for new tyres and full alignment. He says my camber is out and could only adjust toe. Spent a lot on poly bushes and new suspension/tyres so just want it to drive/steer as well as it should

  9. They will be more harsh, I have a set to be fitted(silver projects), but its finding the time!

I had a set of comp brake solid top mounts on my old clio, and you could definitely feel pot holes a lot more!
Its a very subjective thing though as to what you find too harsh.
Some people complain about the added vibrations from solid/ polybushed engine mounts, other people think it makes the car feel more purposeful.......

  10. Ah fair enough then! Was it miles out?

Top mounts or some types of coilovers will include camber adjustment, but that's an expenaive option just for a bit of adjustment when everything else is fine.

  11. Not sure will be going to collect it in a bit. All new suspension so as much as all the other lowered meg 2s I presume! Guess will just have to live with it.

Can adjust all of it on my ep3
