Could not tilt forward/backward with this switch. Works fine when using the lower switches though.

  2. That latch probably works off a different mechanism as it is designed to allow free movement for access to the rear seats, rather than powered motion from the lower buttons. If you can find the 'catch' it might just be sticking and needs some wd40esque love.

  3. I removed the lower part of the seatback trim and traced the latch wire mechanism with my hand, could not see anything with my eyes. However, found that the end of it is not connected to anything. Dont know what it supposed to attach to.

    Update:

Took a picture, both left and right wires are the same, maybe theyr are meant to be like that.

    Any ideas?

  4. Is the latch working on both sides? I was thinking that if you've got the other side off and it's working, maybe you could use the working side to compare the mechanism that works and locate the fault.

If the other side wire is not connected, how does it work?

Other than that, I'm.not sure.... I have a spare seat in the garage that I'll try to look at tonight when I get home, see if I can spot anything different.

  5. I looked again and it seems like both sides work the same way and connected the same way.
Need to figure out how it works.. There is a white thing which i believe a switch, right below the side airbag.
