Hello All, A friend and I have started our own club up here in the South Lakes mostly down to frustration that some people seem to think that North West ends at the top of Lancashire and not a great deal tends to go on up here in Cumbria and the Boarders!!! Just a heads up, here in Cumbria we have some of the best driving roads in the country with both the Lake District and Yorkshire Dales national parks both on our doorstep with a 15-20 minute drive into some stunning scenery. So here it is. South Lakes RenaultSports is a small club based in and around the Kendal and South Lakes area. Our ideology is to provide the area with a friendly, knowledgeable and proactive car club that caters for all French model cars but more specifically the RenaultSport range. Regular meets will be held at The Punch Bowl at Barrows Green every first Sunday of the month http://www.thepunchbowla65.com/#!the-hotel/aboutPage, local organised run outs into the Lakes and Dales will be posted on our Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/groups/1443038549338785/ regularly and club stands at car shows will also be on the cards, all welcome provided club rules are followed; no anti social behaviour will be tolerated, poor or illegal driving, unsafe cars or excessive drinking or drug taking of any type. The club is run on a non profit basis and will remain this way and is purely to meet local enthusiasts with the same interests of ourselves. It also gives you the opportunity to meet each other and share ideas. We look forward to seeing you all at one of our regular meetings or on a cruise out. Regards Ben and Ric

Haha lol, I've just realised that I've mixed up where the location is. There's a pub called The Punch Bowl in The Green near Millom which is where I thought you meant. But that last post by FarmerChris made me realise it can't be there, since The Green is only about 10mins from Millom.
Whoops. Web page is in the top post. Sorry mate, should have made it clearer it's just outside of Kendal. Best way to get to it for you Ben is to come to Kendal and then head out of Kendal on the A65 towards Endmoor and it's just on the left. Apologies again.

Had meeting in Thurso, N/E Scotland. Me,and one man and a dog.The next meeting?. Just a man,the dog died. The man was deaf,i tried shouting very slowly,but that didn't work,and as the R was nearly washed off the Quayside, i gave up,and went home.
Its a bit far. Just done Oulton, 1100 miles round trip,plus track mileage.Spa was 1200 miles one way!.
Lol. The punch bolw at the green (neer millom) is only two mins walk from my parents house. Would be handy if the meet was there. Iv added myself to the facebook groop. (chris wilson)

Hopefully 15+. Got 60 members on the Facebook page in the first 6 days!!! Most can't make it but plenty can. Got a photographer coming as well! Lol
great first meet the other night! hopefully some good things to come of this everyone was a good crack and very enthusiastic about there Renaults. if anyone is thinking about coning next time (Sunday the 2nd August) then go for it!
