Had the pleasure of detailing mattyws New Megane 265 the other week. Car was treated to a new car protection detail with gtechniq products so will keep it looking like new for years to come whilst being very very easy to care for. The colour on arrival was alittle flat, didn't look to have the range ly does on the r26's but this was sorted during the detail. Also credit to the dealer as it had very little swirling to start. The car upon arrival; So onto the wash stages: The car was then sprayed with tar remover then an iron remover, quite alot of iron was detected: Car was then put inside, the car was clayed, quite alot of fallout etc was removed during this stage, which I do find alot on new cars. Car was then polished: The car was then wipe down with gtechniq panel wipe then coated with gtechniq c1, whilst this cured, the wheel's were sealed, engine bay coated, exhaust cleaned, gtechniq glass sealant applied (supplied by mattyw) all trim's dressed, arches and tyres too. The interior was wiped down and then all carpets and mats coated with gtechniq fabric guard: Then all leather cleaned and protected with zymol leather cleaner:
Car was then coated and wiped down with exo v2 literally just before mattyw turned up to collect, so just managed to get some photo's: Thanks for looking
When he 'had' to move it out the way so i could get out, sounds lovely! thanks again, no doubt be with you again for a top up in a couple of years (i hope!)
Ps it looks 10x better in the flesh too, it isnt until the paintwork is under direct sunlight that you can really appreciate his work and the paint! i get far more attention in this car than the r26 too...which is nice
Looks great. I better get my arse in gear and get you to do mine. I've been saying it for over a year now. You better not be turning up to Brands in that Merc
