I have my bonnet stuck closed and a flat battery I have the front bumper off, and the little white grill. I can pull the bonnet cable from here and it still wont open. I can reach the othet part of the cable from behine the passanger headlight, but again nothing. The bonnet cable is in 2 parts, as the ball part has come through where the little white grill is. The bonnet is firmly closed, any suggestions welcome as brute force hasnt worked, nor has everything else i have read on here or the FB page.
If pulling the cable that is attached to the latch won't do it, it probably means that the ball has popped out of the latch end. Are you sure it's the right cable your pulling? It will be quite short. You can just about manage to pop it back in and hold it their while pulling on it to get it open (had to do it in the past) Only other way of doing it that I can think of is to go from underneath with a long thin bar and try and manually push the latch over Sent from my HTC Desire EYE using Tapatalk
