Anyone got any plans for updrages over the winter. Think I'm going to either look for an intercooler or 250 calliper upgrade to mine. What you all planning?
Bigger intercooler already done. New brakes all round is the next job. Then a front suspension refresh while fitting coilovers. Also got oil temp and pressure gauges on order, and looking into relocating the battery to the boot (so I can get more cold air to the air intake) . Going to be a busy winter .
You wont regret it, i am running CL rc6 pads, but will give the rc8's a go when the 6's die, my rears are standard, might upgrade the pads later though.
I'll have a pair of calipers for sale in a month or so, will need painted mind you and possibly a rebuild though. As for mine, need to get tyres put on my new OZs and new brakes all round Inc calipers and a cage. ASTs after the winter as well
I'll be upgrading the oil to fresh one and probably the oil filter to a clean one. I am considering upgrading the paint work to clean status too.
I'm going to upgrade the subframe with adjustable (home brew) lower arms, Porsche caliper upgrade and Porsche brake master upgrade, more direct steering and Ackerman change... S.
Done most of mine now but just fix the niggles like the slight play in the runners in my seats, connect my horn, paint protection film might get oz a fresh refurb, stiffer springs and maybe front and rear anti roll bars
1. Waiting for some new parts for the AST top mounts then I will install them. 2. New Federal r2-r 595 and maybe a set of OZ ultraleggera 3. Design and fit a front lip for more down force 4. oil change and cleaning the air filters 5. Try to remove even more stuff that isn't needed 6. loose 10kg on the driver
Plans for me are: -repaint of new bumper wings etc -plastic back windows -btcc style splitter booked in for -diffuser - need to remove wheel well -coilovers for summer
