just a quick one. K-Teq Racing built me and engine last year. Using Manley rods but I cant find out what pistons they have used. I have stripped the engine down as it went Bang Long story. I have the pistons in front of me and contacted Wiseco direct for a replacement set for a fresh rebuild. They cant find my part number on there site and say The pistons I have are NOT Wiseco? So I need to know what pistons they have used as the one has melted to shit. Under the piston there is W4241 The top of the piston there is 9475D030 27012-10 I have googled these number and came up short. Infact one site said OEM Pistons. I cant see them building me an engine and using OEM Pistons. But the one did melt to shit. Who Knows? If anyone knows what pistons I have I would appreciate a reply. Before someone says just call K-Teq Racing I would rather die. NEVER AGAIN
It is only supposed to be the con rods that are the weak point (aren't they), maybe they only used stronger rods and kept oem pistons, just a thought

Just an update I've sent block off and it's ok to use a new piston at a cost of £113 so I've or Eder don't a single piston. I'm going to rebuild it with my brother we have only just rebuilt a r33gts drift car. So I'll have a forged bottom end spare.
