  1. What's the NGK part number ? Anyone controlled the spark plug gap that came from factory? Is it the same us the oem replacement part from NGK ?

  2. for the F4R engine go with NGK IFR7X 8G

gap is factory set and plug tip will damage if adjusted

    Chavez and bass_direct like this.
  3. Ive gapped mine from factory 0.9 down 0.6 and found it runs alot stronger on boost.

  4. good bit of info there, have heared of tips breaking off after being moved, guess upto each to decide.

  5. I am sorry I need to ask if the answer is obvious but how can the car run stronger with a lower gap ? I thought the capacity to create more sparks is reduced ?

  6. i don't know, but the car feels better for it and a lot of tuners recon the meganen mk3 is fussy when it comes to the gap and gap them down to 0.6.

  7. Your car can feel stronger because of the new spark plugs not because of the gap. At least mine was much better after spark plug change (with original gap).

  8. ...reviving this, would you say that the recommended gap would be 0.6 ? did anybody bother to check to missfires and knocks or its just feeling ?

  9. As mentioned above, most tuners of these cars recommend 0.6
