Big update Just had the 3" decat and remap done wow. At first it didn't feel like my car, the power is just amazing it really kicks you in the back before very very quickly running out of road! Pics; And the results! 270 bhp and 301 lb-ft. I couldn't believe it made 240 bhp with just a 3" exhaust and induction. They also did a power run on a .r before mine which also made similar power. I wasn't the only one who couldn't believe it so the roller were re-calibrated, which turns out the cars were making that power after all! Andy also spent extra time on the crackle map for flames as previous crackles weren't so successful, after some tweaking it does pretty well and not to the excess! Sounds brilliant wish mine popped and banged with flames I have non and that's with full miltek exhuast decat induction kit front mounted cooler and remapped
Cheers, Andy had to map it in specially! Strange, most pop and bang with just the decat alone ive seen on yt? I don't have a fmic though, the turbo was glowing red after that video and another run :eek:.

Should still get 1 I got a unaversal one off ebay and made brackets ect to fit it and it wasn't really dear think it was 170 so money well spent u don't need to buy a forge 1 or that an intercooler is an intercooler all does the same job
Ive been looking into the Chinese copy ones (sold by "winner racing"), they are getting some positive feedback here. I'll add that to the shopping list then.
Going to work on aesthetics before I buy other engine bits (excluding FMIC) . Want the door handles and bullets blacked, and need the front bumper / bonnet re spraying few chips here and there all round etc! New F1 decals too in the summer.

Then it really ROARS! @jamesarmstrongf1, crackle map doesn't cost any extra if your getting it remapped which is £315. You should hear it in person Steve, sounds the tits on boost. Yeah have to be careful where I bang them out haha.
They are haha, all the work and mapping was done at ktec I am going and yeah I will do mate . Might get a hour open pit being my first time and all!
Cheeky update, todays mod is... Canbus 9 SMD LED number plate lights. Tight squeeze, managed to gently bend the contacts so they wont flicker when you tap the plastic. No more yellow lights on the car!

What colour is it ginger?? New package arrived! Thanks to Keiron for spotting my post saved me a few quid on these, brand new R26.R headlights Blaaaaaaack! Should look nice with the black badges and glossy black grills. Not to mention matching the .r spoiler .
Weather has been too poor to do any work on the meg! Coming soon though is fitting those .r lights and tinting fogs, side indicators. Ps3 tyres and staggered spacers. Saw this pic and it gave me ideas (not the skirts though). Definitely had plans to black the door pulls and bullets anyway.. but after seeing this I'm going to get those black RS stickers to replace the tired F1 ones. I also got a quote to dip my bonnet in carbon fiber.. 200 quid mates rates. That last idea is to be slept on for a while but it's really temping me though, what's your thoughts?
Keep an eye out on ebay, etc mate and get a ktec carbon bonnet instead of dipping yours. They usually come up for £200-300ish second hand.

yeah you can definately get them cheapish! I got my .R bonnet at a good price from a member on here, just need to keep your eyes open I think eltel has one for sale?
