  1. hi , new here , just bought a black rs and have been offered g3 glasscoat by the dealer , any experience of this product welcome

  2. Don't bother.

  3. 2nd that, well over price by the dealer and you can bet whomever applies it wouldn't prep the car correctly first.

  4. If its the sort of things that appeals because its your new pride & joy i would say its best to compare what they are charging against what a detailer can offer you.

  5. The car is new in the showroom so prep should be minimal, i'm not expecting it to last 5yrs as it states but 6months to a year would be good, it costs 150....

  6. Has anyone on this forum had it applied?

  7. Spend it on a proper detail. Look up @Liquidf1

  8. On my old Clio. Much better with a few layers of wax built up on it instead.

  9. Or a £20 bottle of G-technic spray sealant. Not sure what it's called this week, C1.5 ?

  10. I'd say to not bother, average at best and the dealers never prep or apply them properly anyway, even if they have someone half decent, they don't have time. Salesman are also on a kickback from selling the stuff too.

I asked the dealer not to touch my Cup-S before delivery so I could prep and detail it myself, you'd be surprised just how much crap and contaminates are on the paintwork, even being brand new.....

  11. How much £150!

Get yourself a bottle of Gtechniq G1 for £15 and do it yourself.

Have a look on YouTube for videos on it.

  12. Cheers, collecting tomorrow without Gen 3, will get it detailed by someone who will at least apply apply a product properly!!! What's best package for interior and exterior???
