17" R33 NissanGTR wheels onto Megane 3?

  1. Hi all,

Just wondering if anyone knows if these wheels will fit onto a Megane 250?

    They're 17" and 9 " wide. Unsure of offset .

    Thanks

    Offset is too low IIRC

  3. ET30 according to a quick Google search, ET40-45 seems to be the max (with added camber).

  4. Thank you

So these wheels will stick out too far then?

  5. Yes.

  6. Yup you're absolutely right. I tried it last night, looked crap as well as sticking out about 5 cm's but did fit over the brakes at least.

Grrrr I'm at a loss at what to do... Need tyres for my 19's but want to change wheels for a cheaper size... Second hand 18's are rare and expensive, aftermarket decent make wheels are expensive so looks like I'm going to have to just stick with 19's.

There's a bloke on the RSmegane owners facebook group selling a mkII set for £250, need a refurb though.

  8. Many thanks for this!

Do the mk 2 wheels fit the mk 3 ok?

    Good question, not sure myself.

  10. No worries, will do some googling

  11. MK3 alloys are a stud pattern of 5x114, which is different than the mk2 (5x108?)

Probably to do with tie-in's with Nissan (most jap manufacturers use 5x114)

Looks like you're stuck with the 19's

  13. Thanks mate, that's just saved me some time.

Lol yeah, I'll stick with the 19's. In the makes I want there's only about £20 - 30 a corner difference in price.

Just hope I can get some good mileage out of them and not ruin them in 1 track day!
