R26 Aux Belt

  1. Hi guys, just need some advice on changing the aux belt on the r26, i have done cambelts and aux belts on 1*2's so figured they would be similar.

    What is the best method for access, removing the undertray and going from the bottom?

    Is the best tool for the job a swan neck spanner as shown in the dialogs image below?

    are they hard to change?
     
  4. I did mine with the Cambelt.
    I recall the aid belt being much easier than the Clio engine.
     
  5. I need to do this myself. How you get the tension back on once youve fitted the belt?

  6. Socket on breaker bar to release tension, slide belt on then release bar and the tensioner self tensions I'd that makes sense
