Hey y'all! Was looking to 'lift' the interior of my megane and had initially thought about Recaro CS sportsters, but the price is off-putting. A local retrimmer to me is much much more reasonable on price so I'm going that route instead. I've got the fabric seats in the RS250 like these.. Although I like the yellow rev dial, I'm no fan of yellow anywhere else - its a glacier white car, and would like to avoid an eggy yellow-white mix. Any suggestions of colour / fabric styles? At my most adventurous I was thinking black leather outers with red stitching, and black alcantara inners again with red stitching (maybe diamond) and a red leather strip down the middle vertically. But think that I might be feeling a little bit of 'overtrim' so looking for other ideas and suggestions.
Thinking along these lines... But with leather bolsters. One major thing is the fabric colour - the dash and steering wheel are more of a grey colour. Would it be better to go with the same colour of leather and alcantara as that grey?
Glacier white man. Did think about white stitching, but it can look grubby quickly. I did see your man who went with yellow and black leather which looked well, but id like to avoid any yellow!
Grey/black with red stitching I reckon. Black leather with grey alacantra & red stitching would look nice. Would look OEM too. Have wheel done in alacantra with matching red stitching.

Yeah, match the seat centres with the alcantara on the steerining wheel. Question is then ... do I go fully alcantara on the steering wheel a la RS275 trophy??
I'd go with something like the Trophy R, black leather/alcantara + subtle red details... Should be easier to get rid of come selling time as well.
I think that'll probably be more like the choice in the end. The rather annoying bit is the air bag is a dark grey and the wheel might need trimmed accordingly, don't think a black and grey combo on it would work. So, fully dark grey alcanatara wheel, black leather outer and dark grey alcantara inners, all with red stitching. First pic isnt far of it then. Pretty happy with that.
Sending my spare steering wheel off to TiggyDesign tomorrow - emailed a pic of a mazda wheel I spotted, and said red stitching and a red 12oclock band .. Should be a couple of weeks as the reshaping takes a bit more time.
