Hi has anyone fitted an oil temp gauge to a megane r26? Would be interested to know where i can plumb in sensor probe Im fitting a mocal oil cooler kit so cant mount sensor in the sandwich plate as mocal sandwich plates dont have sensor ports, Dont want to use sump plug as ive got a magnetic sump plug. Is it possible tee on factory oil switch? Thanks in advance
I'm using a Mocal Thermostatic sandwich plate which doesn't have additional ports for sensors etc... I may get the sandwich plate drilled and tapped as a last resort!
Buy a sump plug with the fitting tapped into it. LMA do them on Demon Tweeks.. All you need to know is the sump plug thread size and the sensor thread which you choose..
Ive got a magnetic sump plug! Ive got it sorted now bought a kit of Proline Motorsport with a Mocal sandwich plate tapped for a sensor probe... Happy days
