250 Tyre pressure sensor part no. ?

  1. Anyone know what the part no. is for the tyre pressure sensors?

I've got a number 407003743R but not sure if this is a generic part across regions/models, need a couple to fit to some new wheels.

Anyone know if they need coding to a car or something? If it needs that I might not bother

  2. Not sure about part number but each wheel needs to be coded the the vehicle and the position of the wheel. There is a serial Number on each unit that has to be set into the ECU (?) using a special tool

  3. Are you shure they have to stay to the exact position to show correctly? As im not that shure, i changed my other set of wheels and placed them to random place and it still showed correctly. And i have 3x spare tyre pressure sensors for 250 if needed..

  4. Actually im interested of knowing out how they are working, so i will try to take one wheel off from my car and put the spare wheel on (lowering the pressure for that tyre), then we can be shure if its reading all the sensors in random places or not

  5. Mk II need to ident each wheel axel position
Mk III self seeking, any wheel any axle

  6. Thats what i thought and saw last time, so no point to test for me

  7. S180052064A This is the part number i used for 4 on my 250 track wheels.Paid £90 for 4 new ones.

  8. That would explain things as I have a mk2 [emoji3]
