A lot of the roads I drive locally tend to be into the direction of the sun in the evening I have noticed that there is a lot of reflection issues on the windscreen glass in front of the the driver. This is a MK2 Ph1 and the reflections are from the dial binnacle. Anyone have any ideas in products or treatments to lessen or remove this reflections? I've thought about flocking but am not really a fan and the feedback from others is a little down on the reliability and finish. Would it be possible to Wrap the panel with a satin or better still matt finish?
flocking will get rid of most of the glare, as Chris says, avoid black sheep flocking, bloke is a useless lying thieving twat.
I'd already gathered the quality of black sheep only thing they had going was their location, less than an hour from me. Will have to get a spare of any parts I want to do and send them somewhere reliable. May have a look at local wrappers too
I've had the Ceased Trading thing happen to me in the past and it's not nice, luckily for me I rarely deal direct with online traders but use Amazon/eBay both of which have their own money back guarantee
I've been having a ding dong with him, he's had £90 and my parts since January, said he's posted them around 8 times now, even sent me pictures of the postage label, but never got anything back, he's been banned from the renault FB sites as he's ripped a lot of people off, he told me Saturday he's ceased trading after i told him i'll pop in and pick the parts up myself along with a load of disgruntled customers from clio sport, find someone else mate, the bloke is a lying twat.
wish i'd never dealt with the twat, he's been banned from advertising on the Renault FB pages now as he's ripped a lot of people off, he also told me he's looking forward to anyone visiting him, twat.
Looks like I've found an alternative to the Twat - my local auto tint shop also does flocking Have heard loads of good comments about their tinting service - so hopefully if their flocking is anything like as good it should be worth the extra cost
Oh in addition to the above I did check on the possibility of Wrapping Dash pieces and the local guy stated it was possible but the part would need to be Primed and painted or at least lacquered first to enable the wrap to adhere properly
