  1. Lotus Exige-S trys to keep with Porsche 911GTS with costly consequences....saw the car later which had heavy rear damage to body and sub-frame.

  2. Looks like a combination of too much speed and taking it up on the curb? Like the slide at the start says, probably a case of not knowing lines and braking zones.

  3. Flipped it on the raised curve.

There is something quite entertaining watching a Ring shunt.

Looks like he didn't know the corner as he was approaching on completely the wrong line.

  5. Yeah nice lines them
Right hand corner and sticks to the right

Looks like he was twitchy well before that
Reminds me of country road driving when you overtake someone and they don't like it to try to keep on your ass even if they driving a a zafira

  6. Aerofoil sees it as entertaining.I just feel sorry for most people in these situations. There but for the grace of God, and all that.

  7. Some drivers use the Ring to try and prove themselves and the car. That's entertaining. They aren't there to spectate, they buy into risk.

  8. I went around the Ring, several years ago, in my Evo 636bhp. The most surprising thing for me,was the fact, that there were coaches, cars with luggage on top,all and sundry, and cars doing hundred plus miles an hour. My first ever lap, took me 10 minutes, lots of traffic, one excursion over the grass, but I still want to go back.

  9. I wish you would buy a better camera Paul , surely that's not a go pro

  10. True but then that's on TF. Things are a bit different on a track day there, particularly DN.

  11. Also irrelevant whether you have a 636bhp Evo, suzuki swift, or GT3. If you don't know the track, you'll be getting passed by 'lesser cars'... and when you do know it, it's not about the car, but the size of your balls

I was always under the impression you're meant to stop if you witness an accident on the ring, is this not true ?

You are, Ive had to stop 3 times but i always make a point of stopping well out the way and getting behind barriers to flag people down.

  14. Yeah it's a Go-Pro but still playing with the editing and settings.......prefer driving really but like to share!

  15. If you are involved in an accident then you must stop.
If you see an accident and there is a risk to life and you can help then stop safely and assist.
If you witness an accident you have no obligation to stop especially if you put yourself at risk. In this case I met the the Lotus driver later who actually drove the rest of the lap after the shunt and got an additional fine for doing so!!

  16. It looks like he took his eye off the ball! Probably looking for his Haribo`s in the glovebox.

  17. His balls would have been a lot smaller on the way home.
