Evening, So this evening i was black flagged at Brands for excessive pops and bangs on over - run. Exhaust is Ktec 3" with decat. Still has Backbox in place. Its been mapped by Ktec stage1. Im hoping someone will say its only a remap that this will sort this out, possibly go custom RST? if i decide for bigger injectors/intercooler. There so strict on noise here for the residents, but being my local track I want to get this sorted. Thanks
Confused by the exhaust is Ktec then you state still has back box in place? Is it a full Ktec exhaust or something thats hybrid and has the OEM back box? Anyway I highly doubt a remap is going to tone down your db levels a massive amount if at all. Maybe the baffles in the backbox have all been burnt out and its increased the noise?
It's the pops and bangs that trips the meters, get it mapped properly without that shit going on and you'll be fine, Brands is also my local track, 2 mins away
Yes mate, i can hear a few but the marshalls were saying its quote loud. So this can be done with a custom remap , hoping maybe RST or go see Ktec. Im Dartford myself mate, maybe see you around but until i get this sorted it wont be at Brands any time soon. I got 1 hr out of it happy days.
