  1. Hi guys,

trying to fit RS front suspension to a GT DCI, got the hubs, shocks, and wishbones,
however are the R26 diesel halfshaft the same as the R26 petrol ones?

  2. I think they are not. As the diesel uses a diferent gearbox than the petrol. The petrol is nd0-xxx while the diesel is other (i dont remember)

  3. thanks for this, never thought of this, yes the diesel uses a PK6 gearbox

I cannot find any spare driveshaft for the 175 anyone got any info from the RS DCI menbers?

  4. I offer absolutely no help to this thread, but lol at the title. Yes, they are driveshats. The CV boots are very prone to driveshatting too

  5. Title updated, Made me laugh when i realised too:tongueout:

  6. You could meybe find some pk6 compatible inner CV joints and make a hybrid on the nd0 driweshafta. Just a thought tho.

  7. Hi guys. Seems like the Rs dci drive shafts are slightly longer than standard non rs DCI ones

Does any RS DCI owner have some second hand driveshaft they willing to sell please? Money waiting...

  8. Guys,

Anybody who can help or direct me in the right direction, I have been looking everywhere and aftermarket have none in stock and on backorder, Renault only have a new one for £330 and for a recon one is not in stock either uk or france.

Do you know of any breaker that might have one please, i am desperate as car is stranded at home and cannot be driven.

  9. Try renparts.

    i will give a ring to Cit-Ren as i didn't know them

  12. well just given them a call and i should receive it in a couple of days £60 delivered, unless item has an issue with it when the guy checking it. Thank you so much for your input Chri5 and the other too who contributed of course

The Gt is back in the game

  13. No problem! I've used them for bits in the past including a Clio 172 engine which was spot on

  14. well,

receive the said 175 dci driveshaft and it is in fact a 225 shaft, so it doesn't fit in PK4 box, back to the drawing boardfor a

Has any body got a 175 dci Driveshaft driver side please (osf) for sale?

  15. That's a bugger. Problem is these cars are as rare as rocking horse shat.. you may have to go too renault for the driveshaft.

  16. yes i am afraid so, also i will try a company called "driveshaft uk" based in Willenhall, they told me to send my driveshaft, measure my car from gearbox oil seal to hub bearing while car is on 4 wheel and they going to extend mine to fit and refurb it in the process £159 all incl. carriage,

If that fails i will go to renault who has 1 in stock.

  17. You could maybe try a shaft of an megane3 with pk4 gearbox?

  18. Hello,

I just read this thread a little too late. I changed a shaft (175dci) but it was so knackered that I throw it away. I'm curious why the 225 shaft didn't fit your car. I assume the gearbox side was the issue. The hubs are the same between petrol and diesel.

Also, I'm pretty sure you can use half of the original GT dCi shaft and put the other half from the 225. Or the M3RS idea sound also pretty good.

  19. Well, as you say the HUb are identical, and you are right the gearbox side is the issue, the shaft that goes into the diff is 2mm bigger in diameter on the 225 as petrol uses ND0 gearbox and diesel uses PK4 gearbox.

Where did you get your driveshaft from?

The reason why you cannot use half of one and half the other is on the 225 inner cv joint the trilobe diameter is smaller compare to the diesel so it fits with a massive play.

  20. The 1.9dci diesel uses the same ND0 gearbog, however the hub side are identical beetween the rs225 and the 1.9dci regarding the shaft diameter and spline. Only difrence is the PCD and centering dia and offset

  21. but i need driveshaft length of 995mm approx that will fit a 2.0dci M9R engine with a pk4 gearbox

  22. Strange that Reno used different trilobe. Got mine from Ebay.
