Hey guys I have a renaultsport megane dci 175. It has all the standard stereo. Just wondering if there is an aux in so I can listen to the music from my phone. Can't seem to find one. Sent from my SM-N910F using Tapatalk
I think there may be an input on the back of the stereo possibly. This may need a lead running out to somewhere accessible though. What is the model of the stereo you have? There is a couple of different ones IIRC.
Not 100% sure what model it is. It's not in my possession at the moment, when I get it back I'll check. Sent from my SM-N910F using Tapatalk
As above, there are three or four different stereos for the mk2 meganes, the majority are easy to put an aux lead in. For some it's just a passive lead with the 3.5mm on one end, and a connector for the back of the head unit on the other - ebay or amazon for less than a fiver usually. Then there's the type that requires an active box between your head unit and whatever you're playing music with - Connects2 make these and can be bought on ebay / amazon for about 30 quid. Then there's the Carminat turn-by-turn nav (which is the one that i have), which is a nightmare to put an aux cable in, but it is possible, you'll just have to make the cable yourself - i can help there though, including supplying you with the factory pins which you'll need to put into the blank spots of existing connector in the back of the head unit =] - you'll just need to buy a 3.5mm extension cable to hack apart.
Ah ha cool. Once I find out what stereo it is I'll post my findings. Don't really want to swap the stereo for an aftermarket one as feel it's very well suited to the car. Sent from my SM-N910F using Tapatalk
If its the same as the one in the r26 it just plugs into the back of the stereo using http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/CT29RN02-...108029?hash=item51bb43687d:g:~yYAAOSwIUNXFlHr Then you have to enable AUX on the stereo in the option menu. (Took me a while to realise this) Make sure its the correct lead before buying, i just did a quick search.
Right guy it's is a Cabasse auditorium tronic stereo! Can see the option for aux on the display. Sent from my SM-N910F using Tapatalk
