275 cup s springs?

  1. Recently got a 275 cup s. Finding the suspension a bit bouncy day to day. The ride height is fairly high too. Thinking lowering springs to make it sit nicer plus I can't see any other spring being tougher than the factory stuff! Any ideas? Always liked eibach

    (I've owned a 182 trophy, 172 cup, M3, so I'm used to tough suspension)

Eibachs are softer than the OEM Cup stuff, I ran H&R's on mine for a bit, Slightly stiffer over stock, Didn't ride any worse but dramatically changed the looks and lost a bit of body roll.

  3. Cooksports are now out for the Megane 3. Heard these are great. I'm going for them in the next couple of months

  4. Cheers Jamie. I like the sound of the eibachs then. Would you say the eibachs improve looks much? I'd like the ride a bit softer therefore the h&rs are out

They lower it a bit, not as much as the h&rs but noticeable enough

You want a softer ride? I found the standard cup springs suprisingly soft, with unsettling amounts of body roll, coming from a 182 with cup suspension.

I now have H&R Springs and they are a noticeably harder ride with much less body roll, though not uncomfortable. The car sits significantly lower on the H&R springs. I'm very happy with the H&Rs considering.

I haven't tried the Eibachs so can't provide any direct feedback myself on them. I belive from photos they don't lower the car as much as the H&Rs.

I think you'll struggle to make the ride softer and lower.
