I wasn't far off then........ Tbf, Mountune do say the power mod is still to be signed off. How much extra poke is the question. Those concerns over the transmission may still be the key issue. If it's a token power upgrade there are going to be one pissed off set of owners.
I guess it depends on usage, but the front axle is kept in tame by using the brakes, so those get a good workout on track. Here it is now: https://www.mountunestore.com/collections/mk3-focus-rs/products/focus-c346rs-quaife-atb-differential
Ive always tried to just balance the hype, with admiitedly a bit of Renaultsport bias. No dry cleaning required R26. No need for the constant personal offensive remarks you get from a certain member in this thread either. I'm too cultured. My only problem is I don't charge for my advice......
A lot of what you post is antagonistic shite, and you seem surprised people have bitten. Anyway it's pretty clear your intentions. I'll leave it be as its not worth mine or anyone else's time.
I would imagine that people have encountered him before on other forums and their patience is wearing a bit thin.
Mountune have been deleting punters posts on Facebook like crazy. Lots of bad feedback on the their latest release of stuff for the RS. They did ask for it by building it up to be something a bit special. Lost a fair chunk of cred.
Saw my first one on road today looks better in flesh than photos, was being driven by what looks like pensioners. 50mph in a 60mph sitting in middle lane
The 5year 100,000 mile warranty was £320 and you can transfer it if you sell. , The service package for 3years and 3 services and other extras like europe cover and hire car was £570.
The diamondbright stuff i wouldnt bother with meself, mine is going to be detailed by Ed (LiquildF1) from this forum. He done my Cupra 280, proper top bloke. Have a look in the detailing thread, loads of hes work in there
Oh I know how crap the diamondbrite is the Mrs got suckered into it many moons ago on a mk2 ford ka she bought. Got it home and there was still sticker marks on the paint work. i would definetly be taking my car to ed if I lived a lot closer but he's just a bit too far with me being up north.
I have been looking at one of these but I just don't think I could wait nearly a whole year for one, like a friend of mine is.
A few people on the rs site have rung around Ford store dealers and pestered them for cancalled orders and have got very lucky, you could always try that, if your not to fussed about spec or colour.
Lol. So, beaten by the M2 and much, much more importantly beaten by FWD hatches here on the same circuit: The Civic Type R is much faster. Just what is all that Ford 4 WD doing then. Obviously just shifting its huge bulk about. No advantage.
A video reply exposing you for being special. It would have helped to actually look at the times before you posted. You actually believed the Renault could beat it. Watch it next time before you post, save yourself the embarrassment.
Gone quiet, must be trawling the Internet for more videos. Waiting for the ring to be mentioned next. Dry weather, wet weather! It's up there with the best and more expensive! Now that must really burn!
Lol, keep digging. The renowned new Focus RS with all its trick drivetrain beaten and closely matched by lower powered FWD rivals.
It's amazing how you bleated on about what will beat it around tracks, and only one hot hatch has. Keep relying on cars you can't have to beat a car you can't have.
Lol! Because revving the nuts off a car instead of using the Rev range properly is the way to go. You know your stuff.
Just watched it again! He doesn't red line the RS at every opportunity either! The whole thing is a fix! And correct me if I'm wrong the video lap is NOT the actual fast lap for any car they do.
