Brake fluid change..

  1. My car should have a brake fluid change, however is this something you guys do yourself, go to a renault dealer or local garage?

I want good fluid that can take a few trackdays, it doesn't cost much extra anyway, no idea what renault would put in, they might just use the same fluid for all the cars over there?

  2. I would suggest Motul RBF600. What I don't know is if there is a special process with the ABS pump when changing the brake fluid that can only be achieved by plugging the Renault tool into the OBD. I guess indies can do that ? Others will now but I believe it's a consideration...

  3. No special tools required and you can do it yourself, it will also gravity bleed if you are solo and can't pump it through, but if you have to ask here it's best to leave it to someone else.

Also recommend Motul 600 for track use. Other decent fluids also available.

  4. The pressurised self bleed kit makes it a piece of cake, as long as you keep the fluid level up during bleeding, you won't have any problems, as stated the rbf fluid will do the job

  5. This. I did the old r26 in about 20mins regularly.

    Think they are called eezibleed
