Potentially Milltek cat-back and atmos dump valve

Hi,

Recebtly purchased a 225 F1 team complete with Milltek exhaust and dump valve. However, I find these a little noisy and am considering returning them to standard parts.

So - would anyone consider part exchanging their standard (good condition) exhaust and recirc dump valve for these items? The exhaust was bought Mid - late 2014 I think, I have the receipt, and I know nothing about the dump valve other than it seems to work fine!

Im based in the west mids - anyone interested?

Wow, lots of interest here. Thanks! An update though, which complicates things - turns out it's a full, turbo back exhaust with decat which complicates things as I need a cat for MOT, I'd need to buy one! I'll confirm asap and update the thread.

Panic over, I've checked - it is a standard Milltek cat-back system. Order date from K-Tec racing was 24/3/15 so the system has likely been installed around a year.

Ive had a few offers now and think I will switch back to standard. Question is, do I go for a completely standard system or a 'box chop'?! I don't fancy having no silencer but have been offered a couple with the rear box chop - what are the effects?

Also, I've seen only K-Tec exhausts for sale on the used market at £350 - is this a reasonable price? I would then deduct a fair amount from this for the exchange for a standard exhaust although this would have to be in good condition!
