Ha! I did exactly the same thing to mine when I bought it 5 years back! (literally the same rubber foot thing!) Much easier to find the button as I kept on tuning off the parking sensors!
Different model RS. My 225 has the traction there as well (and being the mk2, it turns on again above 50kph)
What a great idea, have to always look away from the road if you want to find it. Im going to stick there something also And about the confusion, yes there is a traction button and he just called it Sport button as the traction control is going to Sport setting if you push this button
In the Mark 3 the button turns on Sport with one press (changes TC to Sport along with the Sport mode throttle maps, and enables use of the RS Monitor), and then turns TC off with a long press. The car feels noticeably more eager with Sport enabled - even in the 250 where there's no power difference. In the 265/275 the car is in 250 bhp normally, and then full power with Sport turned on.
