  1. currently have 19" steevs realy want some 18" alloys instead.250 cup 18s 265 trophy 18s????

  2. I've been looking for the last couple of weeks. Seen none for sale.

  3. I know missed on set on renault parts

  4. Whats going rate for Cup wheels as I've a set sitting around

  5. What sort of condition mate and with or without tyres?

  6. No marks and wearing brand new RS-R tyres. Wheels came off car, tyres were fitted wheels now dry stored in garage alongside another 8 sets of wheels (not all Megane) I collect wheels like shoes. Was going to use them for track days but tempted to use my Oz ones as I can't sell my Steev's.

My Steev wheels are brand new (well 400 miles) wearing 400 mile old MPSS tyres, so I need to use them really to wear out the tyres to sell the wheels as no-one will pay £1100 for them if I list them up for a fair price (tyres are £550)

  7. Have pm u mate. Well I Gotta sell mine aswell at some point

  8. .

  9. EAndy sorry

  12. ??

  13. Be looking forever mate

I paid a good sum for mine.

  14. I know mate starting to think of pro race 1.3 now

  15. The ones I was considering selling I put on eBay for £995 with new RS-R tyres on and they went within 2 hours buy it now, chap collected them at the weekend for £225 a wheel / tyre (£900).

They seem to be like gold dust, and although everyone thinks they should be cheap and not worth much plenty of people seem happy to pay out for them, seen loads on FB groups going much cheaper but generally they're advertising to a market of enthusiasts into modifying cars of a younger age range, eBay I guess attracts potentially those more of a track background looking for sets of wheels.

Cheapest 18"s you'll get will be the Team Dynamics 1.3's I would imagine.

I picked up a ropey looking set of OEM Cup 18's Monday night with no tyres for tracking with for £300 which have scratches on the face of the wheel and some curbing as a guideline to prices.

Expect to pay £75 for a 'used wheels' to £150 a wheel for a 'new look / refurbed' wheel.

  16. cheers mate idealy wants some with tyres dont mind if need a refurb as dads a sprayer son get that done through him.but be nice to buy some to go straight on.

  20. Ain't Megane wheels 8.5 X 18? Thanks for the offer S4BiT but not Realy what I'm looking for

  21. Like the autecs tho

  22. Megane RS original wheels are 8,25"

  23. Never used other than OEM wheels but from the information on the forums about the wheel ETs on our cars, it seems that the ET45 with the 8" wide alloy is still working. It will sit more outside but for my eye the car will look better like this. For example, 19" Steev alloys are 8,25" wide and with the ET65, and i have seen that some guys are using 20mm spacers with the OEM alloys. Take it from there and the ET45 should be fine.

  24. Nice one cheers

  25. Dont forget to post pictures if you buy and fit them

  26. I'll upload as soon as I get some wheels some nice tibor alloys on fb atm to

  27. The TD 1.2 I've seen look lost on the Megane, maybe if you've got yours lowered it wouldn't look as bad it's just as the spokes end so far inside the edge of the wheel they look visually like a 16-17" wheel.

I know these are White but just look lost but guess it's all personal preference, I think you'd kick yourself picking those over the OEM wheels like the Tibor above even if you had to pay £200 more for a set of those.

  28. I believe those white ones are 17s I know what you mean about the pro race. Tibors are a good price on Feb. Needs 2 tyres. Will be getting cool sport springs wen there realeased near future

  29. I didnt know that you can fit 17" alloys over Brembos, but good to know.

  30. I'm gunna guess if I went for the tibors above I can use my Steev alloys wheel nuts ?

  31. I used to interchange my wheel nuts between my 18" Cup alloys, Oz wheels and Steev alloys without issue so I can't see the Tibors being an issue.

I've gone stud conversion now though.

  32. Thanks that sounds interesting what's that? New to all this :/

  33. Because I do lots of track, and interchange between wheels for track, daily driver, winter, etc. Rather than the hassle of using a stud locator or simple sitting on the floor and lining up the holes to fit a wheel on with a bolt. You simply slid the wheel over the fixed lugs. Saves probably 2 mins a wheel, 8 mins in total perhaps but it's just easier and if your changing wheels often makes it less awkward.

Jacking the front of the Megane lifts the rear up anyway so generally to change all 4 wheels I use my brace to loosen nuts, then an impact gun to take the nuts off, remove wheels, put others one, impact to point of finger fight and then torque wrench them to correct amount.

  34. Still looking for some 18" alloys

  35. Shure you dont want another set of 19" Steev alloys?
