Probably the mos cost effective way for more power anyway after a remap!

  3. just spoke to Paul at RS, I was planning on going 260 - 630 injectors and IC but he said he would not do that as the cat and the standard exhaust would restrict it all too much, so not sure really what the best plan in. Cant afford to do a exhaust aswell, might go 630's, IC and sports cat back and get the 250 at a later date

  4. Why not just wait until you have everything?

  5. Was going to do the above first which is about £850 for the parts and then do the exhaust in about a year once I save more as adding the exhaust is about the same as all the above parts just for that!!

Depends what you want - standard exhaust will do around 280 bhp - I'd be happy with that!

Cost of decat or sports cat an exhaust would be what £1k? A grand for 20 horses seems a waste to me.

  7. true daz, I only want around 280/300 ideally without spending money for the sake of it, might stick to my original plan of 250 turbo, 630's and IC and see how that goes and then wait a to save for the exhaust.

  8. My 225 made 280/300 without the 630s or a 250 turbo. Did mine on a properly tight budget and squeezed every last pony out of her.

  9. 280/300 would be good what did you have done ric

I'd assume you could just turn the boost up without changing anything to get to those figures but it's finding someone who wants to do it!

Paul doesn't like doing it and I can understand why - the problem is he did such a good job with mine I'd be very reluctant to go anywhere else.. I'd love another 25-30 bhp on the cheap.
