I always do bro but this was the 1St time on track since it happened so was a little nervous but car was perfect t
Run's an ET43 I think wheel so in effective it gives the look of a 20mm spacer which fills the arches and looks in my opinion spot on.
well actually the difference in wheel width affects it too, its more like 27mm extra poke, would love to see the fitment matt when the 17's are mounted, will give a true idea of what offset's possible, if these fit I see no reason I couldn't go rpf1 18x8.5 et 40
I think the wheels are nice and suit the car well. Anyone with any nouce knows they are dope ass rims!
cheers lads, this cars about performance 1st looks 2nd but its just a bonus that nt03 have always been my favourite wheels and now I own 2 haha. ive never felt a wheel with a tyre feel so light. Papps I'm not sure but they are for track days so its ok. also may have just had another bargain/ebay error...4x 245/40/17 ad08r for £260 haha I'm expecting an email to say it was an error
Beautiful, i can imagine this car to be something lake the LY gt performance megane, the one terrorising nurburgring, in the near future
Haha thanks, well picked up some black xenons and fitted my seats and as I thought back seats are useless so looking at my options for a cage
17x9s fitted with 235/45/17 federal 595 rsr tyres. After ring and Castle combe I'll send them off to the powder coaters to be done In a hyper silver sort of colour
Aren't 235s a bit stretched on the 9" wide rim? I think I remember you saying getting 255s for the track rims.... They look ace in blue in my opinion!
No they sit perfect, I did a lot of reading on tyres widths and the federals are anything between 5-10mm wider then stated. I will be ordering 255 fronts but not time before the trip to sort camber and tweaking to allow them to be run
Ah, that makes sense, thanks for clarifying! I was just asking because I'll get 9" wide rims as well, so I guess 245 wide street tires will be fine.
How did you go about mounting the Recaro Pole Positions in. I have Sportster CS seats in my 250 as well, and I recently picked up some Pole Positions a few days ago, while I am waiting for them to arrive I have been wondering what mounting hardware would I need to make them compatible with the OEM seat rails. Any help would be hugely appreaciated.
Ahh okay, so you purchased the Ktec subframe and used the Recaro Pole Position Sidemounts and Sliders. http://www.k-tecracing.com/show_product.asp?id=4019&catid=&appid=20&pic=3
