Airbag light after wheel removal

  1. I have just refitted my steering wheel after having it retrimmed by Royal & the dash has fired an airbag light!!!!!! Do i now have to go to Reno & get the `you shouldn`t be playing with this` routine , it will cost you £xxx, or is there another way of sorting it? I dont have Clip, but i`m prepared to buy it if this is a way of getting rid of the light. Also is clip easy to use?

  2. one of the plugs probably isn't in properly, had the same on mine, did you break the little clips off one or both of the plugs?

I would say something isn't plugged in properly. Check that first.

Clip can potentially brick stuff so if you don't know what your doing i would avoid.

  4. Are you on about the 2 that plug into the airbag?

  5. yes mate

  6. I will take another look.Fecking shite.

  7. i had to put a bit of tape over mine to stop them coming loose  i snapped the lugs off the plugs, think i said 'fecking shite' at the time !

  8. I think after a bit of investigating, have a broken rotary switch!! I now have a clicking coming from behind the steering wheel when turned:mad:.

  9. Don't turn it then......

  10. Thanks, didn`t think of that.:tongueout:
