Over the past week around 4 or 5 times under medium acceleration when traveling around 50mph (not every time) the car drops into limp home mode and show check injector. The EWL does not come on and other then being limited to 2k revs the engine runs and sounds fine. Had the errors check and show codes DF079 Throttle body auto control DF004 Turbo pressure sensor circuit Any one got a idea of what could be at fault
Hi, did you get this issue sorted?? My 225 has brought up the same fault codes and does the same thing. When driving and lightly pressing the accelerator, the dump valve makes a fluttering noise as if it doesn't know whether it should be releasing pressure or not. If you then accelerate hard or lift off its fine, but should you continue to drive it will go into limp mode and display 'Check Ignition'. I've looked at other threads and found people saying check or change MAP sensors and check the throttle body and all pipework for leaking boost pressure. Was hoping you may have found the answer to your problem which may also help me?
