I recently changed the turbo. I bought a new turbo for mk3. I expected little improvement in performance . My top speed is now lower . 235 km/h(gps). The last time with older turbo I had a better response . 248 km/h (GPS). Ecu is standard . Exhaust is a blue flame. Everything else is standard. I tried to reset the adaptation injection. Without success . lacks power.
U got more air flow but ecu control it so the fuel mix keeps the same. U need to repro the ecu. Also more air in the system means it gota be out faster to avoid overheating. Also is posible u have an air leak The only improve u might c is in acelaration and it the depends of the kind of turbo u bought
Turbo is new from factory not rebild one . Turbo for mk3 . I changed all gaskets and exhaust manifold . All new and from Renault
