What are the exhaust options for a 225? Ive seen Milltek on the forum but are there any other decent options?

Get ktec with smaller backbox best exhaust imo for this car. Miltek is far to quiet unless you start cutting boxes or decat it [video=youtube_share;vSY39WAusLI]http://youtu.be/vSY39WAusLI[/video]
Just fitted a milltek - is so quiet it's unreal! Was expecting a nice roar but bit disappointed - my back box chop sounded better! decat next then!
got mine booked in for one in a few weeks, hope its not that quiet!! I have a sports cat aswell. I think they do get louder as they bed in. Heard one the other day and it sounded nice but I dont want something overly loud
I have the Milltek with the RS Tuning 3" decat and its PERFECT. Nice and quiet when tootling along but roars when you open it up. Also good for motorway cruising as IMO it doesn't drone below 80mph.
LOL, I've had drony exhausts in the past and they're just ridiculous, actually make you hate driving the thing long distances. I love the stealth of it. People automatically think more noise more power but not always the case. A mate had a decatted Ph1 FRS and I could hear him turning it round at the top of my street without getting off my sofa. He cannot believe how quiet mine is, and its running 280!
Yep! It's a decent sound for me! I do wish I could hear it burble and bang a bit more though! My ex has a JCW Cooper and when you put it in sport mode (psshhh why wouldn't you...) it backfires and sounds epic!
Saying that yes, I wouldn't mind a little bit of over run but there really isn't any to be had. Bigger injectors might be the answer to that though. Funny you should mention that. Saw a JCW go through Windermere on bank holiday Monday and it sounded particularly pleasant on the ears. I would advise anyone to go for the Milltek option. Seen a couple of people complain about knocking on the rear beam but I've never had a problem with mine and its lowered on springs. It's easy to live with but rosary when you want it to be.
I'm having problems getting tailpipes to sit correctly - pointing slightly upwards at the moment! anyone got any pics from the side of above so I can see how much tailpipe should be showing and how they should sit? hopefully get it sorted out tonight
that sounds good then I would like it to be quiet (ish) on normal driving and then loud when you want it to be

The Miltec does sound a bit louder after if beds in. No where near as loud as my larini on my old car, but everyone says they know when I have arrived due to the Miltec noise - just was not as noisy as expected. Quality but of kit though so no regrets.

I've got a 3" scorpion decat and ktec system. Sounds very nice although it did sound better before the remap.
