I read a lot of threads on here where people mention they are going over this year, I thought it might be a good idea to post up when you are going, and perhaps arrange to meet up.

I'm going over on 22nd April and returning on the 28th April, I also plan to go in July, but that one hasn't been booked yet.

  9. Im going 3-6 june

  10. I'm going from the 18th until the 25th July most likely taking the Audi thou.

  11. I'll be there the Green Hell weekend in May

  12. 9th-12sept, wld like to go in the summer but its not possible with the people i go with.

  13. I don't really set dates usually, I'll literally work a Friday go... fancy Nurburg to a mate if so be over for 7pm jump on ferry at 10pm drive across to Centre Parcs Park Eiffel as thats £120 for 3 nights, get there around 4-5am, sleep for 3-4 hours wake up and make the 10 min drive to Devils Diner.

Nurburg all Saturday, Steak on Rock in evening, Nurburg all Sunday with stupid sized pizza at Pinocchio's drive back get a 10pm ferry, back home around 3am UK time. Arrive at work 9am Monday morning.

Then when everyone is whinging at work about doing nothing at weekend I'm like... yeh drove to Nurburg did 'x' laps, went Casino and destroyed a set of tyres and brake pads.

  14. My ideal trip..... If I wasn't married with kids lol

Sounds like a perfect weekend

  16. I am married and have 2 x kids (4 and 1/2 year old + 10 month old) hence I dash for the 2-3 nights so not away for to long or I tie it in with when they go to stay with the grandparents.

I need it for my sanity and if I work out the time the wife spends having hair appointments and various I'm sure in total she's away much more than me anyway

Sometimes it's made easier if you just tell the wife your working the weekend, but when she rings and gets the international dial tone that is sometimes a bit of an issue so you need to use a 3 phone system. Divert your mobile to an office number for example in the UK, which then diverts it to another mobile. When wife rings the mobile she'll hear the dial tone of the office line and not the divert / international tone to Germany... so I've been told

I am married also but no kids
My wife is quite happy with me playing with my car, going away on track days, she knows that's all i will be playing with

  18. Definitely gonna have to try doing something like at the spur of the moment

  19. Always the best way like when you go down pub with mates to watch football at 1pm then by 9pm your in Poznan in Poland in Columbus Bar getting hammered before heading to Van Diesels and paying the extra £10 for private bar, red carpet and women bringing you champagne. It's the 7am flight home the next morning.

You can get a 4pm flight out on the Saturday that gets you there for 7pm, then a 7am flight back for 9am UK time, gives you around 8-9 hours of drinking, no need for a hotel and the wife / girlfriend just thinks you've crashed on the sofa... till your one single mate posts the photos up on his facebook

  20. I'll be going again this year, not sure who with yet.

Went with the missus this year, we were sat in the pub having dinner and I mentioned it and we booked it there and then and went 4 weeks later

  21. Legend! What airport is that from?

  22. From Luton, when you get to Poznan it's around £15 for a taxi to the square not to bad. Usually the return flights are around £40-£60 all in. Once you get to Poznan though it's so bloody cheap! If you go, go Van Diesels pay the extra you'll get walked up a red carpet with women passing you champagne you'll feel like an F1 driver going onto the podium then you also have your own private bar. Works out about £5-£10 for this

If my wife joins this forum one day I'm dead.
