225 & R26 spring difference

  1. I've recently bought new R26 shocks for my 225 Trophy but I'm in a bit of dilemma as to wether I should fit R26 springs too?

Now obviously I've got the Cup Eibach springs fitted and if they're the same as the R26 Eibach springs I'll just fit the standard Cup springs.

So does anyone know if the R26 Eibach's are any different from the Cup Eibach's?

  2. Go for cooksports ste, cup handles perfect on r26 shocks and cs springs.

  4. Nah they're too low for my liking, Jacob. I must be one of the very few people that doesn't actually mind the standard ride height lol

  5. Cheers Tim I'll check that part number against the cup springs.

I think the standard springs are softer so they squash more once the weight of the car is back on them.
Why not fit some BC coil overs, you can then set your own ride height and stiffness, love mine

  7. From memory the cup and r26 springs are identical

  8. Nah not interested in coilovers it's a daily runner mostly used by my girlfriend so don't want to spend a fortune on coilovers for them to be a pain in the arse after a couple of winters lol.

  9. That's what I wanted to hear.
