  6. Thanks for the pic!! Looks good, how's the ride on them?

  7. Sorry if this is a stupid question but on the cooksport website it says the springs are for the 225.

Are the 225 and 230F1 springs the same?

  8. Absolutely fine for me - I don’t find them crashy at all. As this is my ‘family’ car, wife wouldn’t let me have the R26 dampers and cooksports as I wanted so went for OEM (non-cup/trophy) dampers and the Eibachs.
The spring rate for the Eibachs makes them approximately 50% softer than the R26 springs, but stiffer than the standard 225 setup so body roll is controlled more.
They are also less than half the price of the OE 225 springs too.

They aren't an off the shelf product. Large companies like Eibach will have this being made constantly to stay on the shelf. Cooksport springs are made when Josh orders a new load of stock. Each time the amount that gets ordered is increased. They will take a long time for them to be made and shipped. Myself, Josh or Naith will let everyone know when they are in stock.

  20. Just desperate for some that's all lol
clearly the best springs on the market

  21. Any rough idea of when these will be in stock? Finally going to take the plunge as i did cadwell on standard springs,so need to see improvement on cooksports.

  22. I see there still out of stock anyone know when there back in?

  23. I've just fitted H&R'a on mine. Just right for me.

  24. Me 2. Think there awesome. Ride hight is perfect

  25. I just fitted H+R springs to my R26 also. I held out for two months to see if Cooksports were going to come back in stock, but got a bit fed up when there was no reply to emails that I sent, and phone calls that were not returned.

I I am pleased with the stance now it's on the new springs, the ride seems ok, (only got it back last night), and I am taking it to Snetterton on Monday so I will see if there is much of a difference once on track.

I'm glad there's more people fitting H&R's, be nice to have several opinions on them.

  27. I emailed cooksport with no reply

  28. Tempted by the H&R.

Tried to get cooksports at the time but the delivery to IRE was 75% the cost of the springs themselves :/

  31. H&r for me.
Great ride not to crashy and give the car a good looking stance.

I had H&R too, they were perfect.

  33. Those H&R on the dCi look slammed?

Surely that's just camber of the drive doing that and thy are not actually that low?

Are the dCi spring specific to account for the extra mass over the front wheels?
