Damn that is the colour I would be choosing if I was in the position to get a GT4. Spotted a white one at Thruxton last year, got chatting a bit to the owner it looked really lovely in the flesh and surprising that it past the 90dB limit there. Looked like he was wearing the outside fronts a bit more than centres but I guess these will have adjustable bottom arms to space in a bit more camber. Car looked very fast and planted on track, Sutcliffe recently did a 1:03 in one on Silverstone National bonkers pace for the money when you think about it as it would be a struggle to build a tin top race car faster than that for the money.

  25. Fitted some small mud flaps to the 250, thought they might look daft but to be honest you can't really see them! [IMG][IMG]

Bought new injectors and some oil!

  29. Treated the car to some new Michelin cup 2s

  30. How are you finding them ? I might get a pair for the front

  31. Interested in these also. Any opinions on wet/damp conditions? Also how they effect ride.

  32. Don't know yet still in garage waiting to be fitted ,going on next week.went for these as they have been developed for the Megane so will see how I get on.wet weather I don't think will be to much of a problem just drive to the conditions

  33. Have Cup 2's on the GT-R and they're miles better than the MPSS I was running beforehand. Not to bad in the wet, much better in the dry and surprisingly don't really wear that much quicker.

  34. Harsher ride, less pliant. More road noise. Less initial tread depth. OK in damp and wet, particularly if some temp in the compound but not as capable in the wet as a standard premium road tyre. Need care if deployed in very cold and wet conditions. Fair wear rate unless using on track with elevated compound temps (Grip=Wear equation). Once warm, superb dry grip levels, stiff side walls and no need for negative camber to protect outer tyre walls. Relatively expensive. Excellent track day choice and provides a significant increase in dry grip and on-track endurance. Not the best choice just for use on the road unless you really need that bit of extra g in your life.

  35. Nice review mate.

I've heard they come with 5.5mm as new

  36. Michelin say 7.2mm

  37. Sounds good to me ,have many track days including Spa and Nurburgring to do this year, interesting to see how long they last.

  38. Any chance you can measure yours mate?

I had someone measure them and they told me 5.5mm
