If anyone wants rid of there Recaro seats (Megane Mk3) let me know. I know it's probably unlikely but sometimes people revert back if they've changed them, sell them on if selling a car to reduce the cost of the car making it easier to sell etc. Cash waiting. Cheers
Hi, still looking. I'm hoping to get darkant's ones but he's been having net issues so it's possible / hoping I still will. Plan was to collect at the weekend and he messaged me. I've messaged twice but he's not been online since his message sent to me. As I've no contact number (unless someone else does and could drop him a message?) or address obviously unsure on whether he's still got them or has sold them elsewhere. Just hoping regardless of seats that he is okay. As said hopefully it's just net issue and I'll get them but in meantime need to keep looking as want a set in ideally within 14 days so I can borrow friends clip tool to turn off things like my standard seat airbags.

Having a look around, really did want Darkant's but it appears my next option is to buy a car, take the seats fit mine into it and sell the car on for £750 less than I bought it for. Probably the cheapest option. Seen a Clio with leather Recaro CS seats for £3,995 figured buy that and shift for £3,250

Been offered a really good price on Audi B8 RS4 Wingback seats thats tempting, obviously has RS4 stamped but can get away with the RS bit. Found some lovely Recaro CS seats but they're from a Lotus in Red... not sure I could pull off the Red seat look in my White Megane so these are currently winning.
Ok as I'm clearly impatient I've decided that I need to get a decent set of leather ones from a Clio or Megane ideally with frames so can adjust height of seat. So still after a set, hopefully darkant will resurface in due course when he's not busy. In the mean time I decided to buy a cheap and cheerful set of Black Cobra Daytona's. I've had a set of them before *cough* 13 years ago!!!!!! in a MG ZR I had and they were pretty comfy. ZR spec for anyone interested (please remember I did build this in 2003!!) was Rover 620Ti engine played with a bit making 220bhp, with a 820Ti gearbox. 19" wheels which in 2003 were unheard of and Air Suspension by Rayvern Hydraulics again back then nothing else ran on air suspension / hydraulics in the UK. Then I had a load of custom bits made. Ran 13.9 second 1/4 mile even with a ridiculous sound system weighing about 4 people. Anyway back then was different would get laughed at out the street these days
I did this with a Saab. Had an Anniversary but wanted Aero seats. At the time a full Aero interior, front and rear seats plus door cards etc were going for £1000 ish. I paid £1400 for a clean Aero on a credit card, swapped both sets of seats including door cards and a proper clean and feed of both. Sold the Aero the very same week for £1650. Guy came 340 miles for the car. His parting words "love the car, and these seats are great!" The seats that caused the fuss: As fitted into another project car, this time a 900T16S
Cheers, tried to join the group to drop a message as the chap is very local to me only around 5 miles away but I might just wait on darkant's return at some point bought some Cobra Daytona's earlier so no massive rush now. Also got breaker yards and few other places on the look out for me. Thank you though didn't know that group existed.
Well I bought a set, £800 with the tilt function / airbags etc in leather owner even chucked in a set of Recaro covers, seat belts, Clio Mk4 subframes to work with and a set of runners. They were in a car for around 150 miles so as can imagine look as good as new. Got a set of Cobra Daytona's I bought still boxed if anyone wants them as well
