225 r26 max bhp without forge internals

  1. Does anyone know that if with a airtec intercooler miltek exhaust and Decat and 250 turbo, 650 injectors and a map if I could run a safe 300bhp ? Thanks
     
  2. There's a few lads out there running 300bhp, the problem comes with then torque figures.

    300lbft of torque seems to be the limit and I know Paul at RS caps them at around that figure.
     
  3. That wouldn't be so bad though would it ? Even figures 300bhp and 300lbft. I'm wanting to do the mods to get it to 300bhp but I'm worried as my mate brought a LY meg and was told it was fully forged and got it to 300bhp and popped a rod so had to put a new engine in and forge rods
     
  4. My old 225 was running 286bhp & 355fltb for over a year with no issues. It also did a few track days.

  5. What mods did you have to do to get it to 286bhp?
     
  6. I ran 287.9bhp 315lbft

    Front mount
    3 inch turbo back (decat)
    Air filter
    630cc injectors and map
     
  7. We're can you get the 650 cc injectors as I've tried ebay and had no luck

    There's these ones but they also do the long fuel injectors as well do I need the short ones or long ones ?

  10. i had full miltek turbo back with 2.75" decat.
    630cc injectors
    forge intercooler
    itg panel filter.

    the next mod was the Rs tuning hybrid which made 302bhp.

  11. Is that on standard internals?. My mate put the megane 250 turbo on his and made 303bhp. And i think the 250 turbo is cheaper as well isn't it ?
     
  12. That was on stock internals yes. We did get 330 bhp out of it but Paul turned it back down as his r26r went bang 2 days before.

  13. I am running near 300/300 with standard internals, 250 turbo, 630cc injectors, air box mod and std fmic! Should actually get to 300/300 with uprated fmic, didn't have one in stock when it was all getting done. Interesting but is that I am running relatively low boost, I think only around 1.1 bar
     
  14. Sweet now I know I can get a safe 300 I'll start buying the parts
