Car ran 275bhp standard then a little while later she was churning out 316.5bhp. The torque is 350lbs and the car has been transformed. Apart from the rain the drive home was brisk

Well, the bonnet and front bumper decals on their own are £300 so it gives you an idea of what the cost of the bonnet might be. With regards to protection I'm just not going to drive it lol. Seriously though, I'll let you know as I'm just testing out the options at the moment.
So on dyno today my RS250 ran 252bhp then after few bits and tweaks it ran a 314.1bhp. Pretty pleased with the 62.1bhp increase and additional 67ft-lb torque. I hit max torque at 2,800rpm which is 332ft-lb and it holds firm to 5,300rpm I've seen a lot of Megane maps where they spike to high torque then drop off hard. Also my power curve is a perfect straight line no jumpy bits. Absolutely love it, the blue flames on gear changes and banging is immense really pleased was greasy on way home (180 mile trip) and loved it 1st, 2nd, 3rd even 4th gear wheels spinning, suspension plans getting drawn up next.

Will do mate. Apparently a decat can help reduce the temperature retained in the turbo but I don't want to go down that route.

Had a little mess around with some yellow vinyl stripe tape, also fitted some new wheel nut covers, I was a little unsure about putting them on but now three on they don't look to bad!
Removed bumper and bonnet decals. Undecided yet wether to put the new one's back on. Quite like the naked look.

It's got loads of good reviews, no one seems to say anything bad about! I've yet to try it out and it's killing me not being able to use it with this bloody rain

They offered a percentage towards the cost but with what they wanted to charge it made no difference by doing it myself. After numerous calls to Renault Customer services ( who now appear to be located in India ) and the head of RenaultSport saying "I should leave it, the milky patch is a characteristic of the car" you sort of realise you are trying to shit up a rope !!!
why didn't you order it from ren Wolverhampton with their contrib? i would just issued small claims, clearly a defect in design and thus should be covered by warranty but anyway, you got it sorted! You get my testa?
