What have you done to your Car today?

Got the call, new car will be at the dealer tues! Buzzing!

 

Excuse the airbag, it needed a firm push to sit properly and now it's fine!

 

Fitted a new fuel pump relay to my mk1 golf and got that running again. Happy times

 

Today and yesterday i got all 4 wheels of my 250 and gave them and the arches a full detail ready for winter

 

Looking awesome Mike!! Did you get a chance to measure the old wheel against the 197?

 

Although only had the car afew days gave it another clean. Got someone coming round next sat for a proper polish to rid a few small light scratches which are bugging me!!

 

Just fitted LED lights to my 250, Itching to go out and see what they look like in the dark but i'm going to wait to the morning. Should make starting work at 6am on a Saturday a little less painful

 

Picked my car up on weds, and fitted dump valve, bmc panel filter and new CD player.

 

Another coat of touch up on one of the wheels I nicked on a kerb turnign the wheel, Halfords Gloss Black seems a perfect match to the 18" wheels and can't even see it now.

Annoyed as hell when I did it but given how well it worked not so fussed now

 

Yes I did mine at the sprint day with mike and yes the Halfords stuff is just the job

 

Air box mod but kinda wish I hadn't now..engine responds differently and I think feels worse. I'm surprised how much difference just cutting out a bit of air box makes.

 

double din and scanguage install next week cupra r splitter on front then to order 197 sides skirts for week after

 

changed the headlamp bulbs what a faff trying out osram nightbreakers ultimates hopefully i can see corners coming LOL

 

My windows close on the second click of the lock button on the remote?!

 

30mpg.... Not bad considering I was "testing" it out.

 

Done that before... At least my windows were shut when I left it unlocked in an airport for a weekend!

 

Drove it - loved it.

 

New rear bearings/discs & pads. Seems to have stopped the droning noise!

 

Nothing major but fitted rear Silvertec indicator bulbs.

Fixed the boot light that wasn't working.

Got her washed, and filled her up with V-Power.

 

Got the car remapped today

 

Had the 6 year service done, running sweet as a nut now!

 

First MOT in my ownership.... Passed fine. Very chuffed, so much so I booked her in for decat and remap end of the month!

 

I'm soo tempted go to decat......

fitted new plates, had small plates as i have a 5 character private plate however it didn't look right so have reverted to the std size plate
at the weekend i'll be fitting my new double din stereo went for a Kenwood DDX4023BT, also got a reversing camera to fit but aint got a clue where to fit it

 

Went into sport mode for the first time, epic!

 

Gave her a good clean both inside and out.

 

Over the last week she's had a service, MOT, new discs/ pads/ caliper pins a new suspension spring on the front drivers side as the other one broke completely oh and six months tax thrown in for good measure!

Next month is 2 new front tires and all is well!

Mini service today, spark plugs and cabin filter. Oil change tomorrow

Removed the Megane badge and put the black badge covers on

 

Had a new shock absorber fitted on front o/s, drives sweet as a nut now!

 

What have I done today, well I hit a hare at 50mph which had caused a lot of fluids to leak out so now I'm sitting here waiting for recovery! Damn nature

 

Washed it AGAIN !
