Hi All, I am currently driving an Audi TT mk2 Quattro but I'm finding it rather boring. Hence I've started looking for a RS250! I have seen seen this one and wonder if anyone knows it? http://www.evanshalshaw.com/search/...ult-megane--manual-petrol-blue-coupe-sy11rxm/ Grateful if anyone knows anything about it etc? Thanks. Great forum too.
Rare colour and has the important Cup chassis but its pretty poverty spec, I would be looking at one with a few more options TBH
It ticks a box being the cup chassis but like you say bit poverty(no recaros!) . It'll be stripped and used as a track/weekend car as I've got a VW Golf GTD as a daily. Yeah blue seems a rare colour?
Personally i would wait out for one with Xenons/Recaros and a few other bits. IMO Recaros/Cup is all you need but i find myself wishing after 3+ years of ownership mine had Xenons at least on top of the spec i have.
Cheers for the reply mate. from your personal experience, anything else I should look out for before purchasing an RS250?
Hi, just a quickie, ive just bought mine last week, cup chassis, leather seats, mint unmarked paint,rs monitor,10 plate, air con, etc, only 21350 miles! £12250.00 from a trader. And I'm already thinking it's awesome! good luck! Andrew.
Test drove this car today. 2 owners and full service etc. First impressions, it felt twitchy but I think that's down to the cup chassis, more than anything else. Felt strong pulled very well, took some roundabouts at a little bit of speed and the LSD is magic. My current car is a Quattro and I felt the Meg pulled tighter and I had a lot of confidence. My only concern was the airbag light was on? I've done some research and it seems the sensor under the seat could be faulty? Any advice on that? Thanks again!
A picture for good measure. Naturally instagramed as the weather in South Wales is typically crap! Brakes also felt incredibly strong, tyres are all matching Goodyear Eagle F1's (always a good sign of an educated previous owner)
Compared to my Audi the brakes on my Meg are in a different league and I have the B7 RS4 brembo brakes ! I guess it's down to being 300kg heavier. Looks stunning and a very rare colour. My next car will be a 250 cup.
