Has anybody changed there gear box oil on there 250,265 etc,mines done 30,000 and thinking about it.The reason being I changed my clio 200 at 15,000 miles and it was shocking,black as tar. Thanks in advance.
Yes its a minefield,was just going to get some Elf Tranself NFP 75W80,as its still in warranty,but not sure its correct.
Is it a cup or not? Find out mate or give Opie oils a bell, they seem to be the go to people for oils.
So its got a lsd. I got mine from Opie oils for my rs 250 cup. Give them a ring, if i remember right i think the box takes 2.4 ltrs, but some one will put you right if im wrong lol.
Changed mine on 265 cup recently at 40,000 miles, tranself nfp. Made a very noticeable difference to shift action. Well worth doing for reasonably straight forward job. Buy 3 litres, put 2.5 litres in mine.
I have the oil to change mine but need a new plug and washer. Can someone point me directly to them? I found some on ebay but wasn't sure it was compatible. Thanks
