  4. Hi Dave I remember this thread from the other site, looks like a new paint job so credit to ya. You have given some tips in the past but there are 2 more tips I could do with

1- best way to clean the glass on the inside, no matter how much I try I keep getting that misty layer clouding up the windscreen.
2- machine polishing- any tips on the best pad, polish combo, I'm a complete novice and I am concerned I'll ruin the paint if not careful but I would like to get the swirls off my black R26

    cheers Si

For machine polishing remember only use a small amount of polish and work it until its almost clean and broken down.

Heres a link to a black R26 ive recently detailed with pad and polish info.

  8. As for the inside of the glass. I used auto finesse crystal.

My method is from the passanger seat 3 sprays onto a folded cloth. Wipe half the screen then flip the cloth and buff. Then repeat from the passanger side to do the drivers side of the glass.

I might do a short guide with pictures for this as its a question I get asked a lot.

    Hope that helps for now.

    Regards

    Dave

  9. I see ill research machine types to see which is best for a novice, there's so many on the market it seems confusing to see the difference for something that does only polishing.

thanks for the glass tip I seem to be going wrong by coating the glass with loadsa cleaner and using a rubber wiper to clean.
