  1. Are these the OEM pads for the 265 cup just without the Renault branding on them?

  2. Most likely.

I know for certain the standard front pads for the 225/r26 brembos are ferodo.

  3. Anyone know for certain before I order?

  4. Thats not the right ones. They're for the mk2

  5. You sure Mike? Amazon says they are for the MK III

One of the questions on the item also says it is for MK III

  6. Positive mate. They're the wrong shape and too small. I measured my RC6 so you could see the size and shape difference aaa4f3f2dea3d397b630caffcc2ee368.jpg cc8bd19e4490f8c5d29bc23119077129.jpg

  7. Anyone happen to know the ferodo part number for front pads on the 265?

  8. I've got the FDS1968 ferodo pads, those are de DS Perfomance pads, still need to install them.

  9. How you finding the brembo pads nath? Not long fitted a set on mine from ebay, i dont find the initial bite as i did on ebc yellow stufff.

  10. I agree with you. The initial bite is very poor I find with the standard pads.

  11. Brembro arent the standard pad from factory, there ferredo

  12. Standard meaning not higher performance

  13. Let me get back to you on that! I've barely put 200 miles on them yet and had zero big stops due to the worrying clunk from both front ball joints! But they are getting done tomorrow so I'll be able to evaluate the pads.

What I can say though is that the initial bite of the standard Ferodo's that came out was horrible. But they were half worn and I have no idea how the previous owner treated them.

*edit* Oh and I don't believe the Brembo's are in any way performance pads. They are OEM equivalent as far as I know?

    Nath.

  14. Yeh you are right there an oem equivalent. Like i said, they do work on heavy braking, but on light braking the initial bite is abit meh compared the yellow stuff i had before. Not that im fussed as i dont do much track driving to warrent better pads.

  15. Anyone have the OEM part number for front pads for the 265 cup?

  16. 410603303R

    Would this be it?

  17. Oink, sorry to derail you thread again  Ryan, only having the half worn OEM Ferodo's to compare against that may or may not have been glazed to high heaven, these Brembo's seem much keener on initial bite and do wrok well under heavy road braking. I'll be looking at uprated pads when the time comes to change the rotors.

    Nath.

  18. Got round to getting OEM pads from renault wolverhampton. They are indeed brembo pads.

Got them all switched over yesterday, 2 of the four caliper pins were seized, but after a little work with the blow torch they came out easily with no bending

  19. They're branded brembo but made by Ferrodo, it's normally stamped into the metal backing top centre above the brembo sticker.
