How are you lot filling your gearbox oil? I need to top mine up but the location of the filler hole is a bit of an awkward one.. guessing I need to make a long funnel?
Where is the filler hole? On the side of the gearbox? I did it on my clio 197 and if its the same as that, I took the passenger wheel off to remove the cap and get access, then used a length of tube which fitted over the filler tip of the bottle and poured it down through that. is it worth replacing the gearbox drain plug with a magnetic one, like a gold plug? Getting one for the sump so might as well?
I'd say so - Every little helps. I've had them on a car before and its pretty shocking how much metal they pick up! Where do you get them from as its something i'd definitely buy myself
I was going to get mine from opie oils at the same time as getting the oils - http://www.opieoils.co.uk/search/go?w=gold plug. Just need to work out the correct sizes.
