I'm going to change the top mount and upper stabilizer mount and the gearbox and lower mount next pay day. Where should I get them from that are decent and will last? I have a 225 Trophy cheers
I'd go new standard mounts with powerflex inserts. There's the vibratronics ones but some say they cause too much vibration.
i want less vibration so will jib the powerflex! whats the appeal with those if they increase vibration. so if I buy standard OEM ones you just buy the mount and thats evrrything ie the mount and insert? I'm confused
If you do t want any vibrations just fit new OEM mounts The powerflex inserts will cause more vibration
Get the mounts from renault and the inserts either via powerflex direct or give Boardy on here a pm as he may be able to get discounts still.
Good place on Facebook selling them mate , type in Racingflex, I sent him a pm this morning and he sent me a full list of them for my car, good prices too
People fit them to stiffen the engine mounts , resulting in less engine movement . So essentially should be better for fast road and track

Powerflex inserts Simon, No vibration and only set you back about £25 a go. Dead easy to fit as well. Do it, DO IT NOW!
just go for the purple ones, expect a little vibration and fix any rattling after...thats my plan anyway. I have a rattle in the rear door card drivers side that is annoying the shite out of me at the mo..almost pulled over on the M6 today to rip it to bits. Buzzzzz Buzzzzz Buzzzzz. Aggh! every time I come off the go faster pedal :eek::eek::eek:
