R26R headlights are just the same as the Xenons from the outside. Both have black inserts, shouldn't be able to tell the difference when bulbs are off.

Other than that, it's "quite" easy.

  3. Your mate just went full retard wanting to do that.

  4. The xenons on my old R26 wasn't black, only R has black head lights as far as. Know

They are, all the xenons are. Xenons and .R lights are black.

  7. He just wants to know how easy it is to do.

  8. Did it on my old R26 Steve. It a piece of p.ss.

  9. Mine were not black , were yours rob

  10. No mate. They were silver as they were normal halogen bulbs. Only cars with the Xenons had the black inserts. Apart from the R26.r.

  11. Some cabriolets were fitted with black headlights (halogen) too if it help when trying to locate some.

    Not xenon.

  14. Xenons have grey inserts not black like the .r headlights.

  15. The way to tell if he xenons for sure is to check if he has a headlight adjuster on the rhs of the dash. If so he hasn't but I was also under the impression that xenons have a black backing.

  16. I've just asked him, yes he has adjusters, sorry guys, it's an an easy swap for him though

  17. The adjuster is always the easy way to tell Steve. Most think they have xenons because of the ph2 projector lenses.

  18. I always thought that about xenons too but it wasn't until my brother bought his R26 that has xenons and at that point I had my 225 Cup with .r headlights fitted I noticed the difference.
