You serious? Neither were driving flat out or proper lines, it was all for show! Plus snetterton is a power track - S3 is miles faster on straights in any event
Glad I've watched that...the S3 is something I'm seriously consdering next. Yes it's all for TV but the one thing that put me off the S3 was its handling compared to the balls out Renault. I Don't get out as much as I used to in the megane and planning to have kids next year. Although if possible I want to keep the 250. Who knows?
Its got 261bhp and all the 4WD weight so how do you work that out? Its better out of corners thanks to 4WD though. Nice but criminally dull IMO.
The s3 is just under 300bhp actually and the 4wd is heavier but give better traction, which is why 0-60 is under 5 sec. Much prefer the megane though.
The S3 they were driving is the new S3 and has a solid 300hp. Its a quick car but not exciting like the Renault.
Thought that was a really entertaining race to watch. Even though I think red wheels are dire, the Megane would be my pick! Rawness over creature comforts any day
