Brembo refurb kit

  1. I've noticed recently since getting a second car that the front calipers on my car have started to stick slightly when I use it. I suspected it may happen so I'm not shocked bit I'm looking for a refurb kit for my front and possibly rear calipers as I like my car to be tip top. Anyone know where I can find a kit for the brembos? I don't know the sizes for each part or where to buy them within the U.K. as they seem to be strangely hard to find? Also any recommendations on painting and logos would be great as I'll re paint them whilst they're off!

  5. I read that you should powder coat not paint these or they'll start sticking again? I thought undercoat, 2 or 3 coats of colour, stickers then lacquer would do the job?

I tried to paint mine and they turned out shite, going to get them powder coated over the winter.

  7. you probably need to use etch primer since they're aluminium.

Yepp did that, i put them in my degreasing bath to get the crud off and then blasted them with brake cleaner, dried them and then etch primed.

  9. I paint them with duplicolor base, then reault yellow j37, some brembo stickers and clear coat duplicolor for heat resistance

  10. Powder coat will last longer thats the diference. Here is a pic of my brakes jb
